V1 Pro: Coaching Platform Examine App

It requires you to sign in. But doesnt let you sign up. Genius... Not

I’ve been with V1 for about 12 years and send videos out to all my students after every lesson. Over the year the app has had a few bugs however they fixed very quickly. Now the bugs are bigger and they try to take care of it however it seems it’s never there problem. They seem to have a call center that is overseas and reading from a book to fix the problem. They need to get back to the basics and fix the bugs for the instructors. I give them plenty of fees back to try to fix however the overseas people aren’t the ones to fix it.

I’ve been a customer since 2010. I’m currently using a tablet and phone for instruction paying $69/month. I was told I have the updated version but countless times the tour model downloads will not work once downloaded and I’m constantly getting model swing’s deleted on their own. Might be time to change companies.

Had many problems with swing videos skipping and making big jumps for some reason when I try to review them. I import them into the V1 pro app and the video will play but then just skip through watching the swing video extremely frustrating wanted to know if there is a solution or am I only person to have this problem?

Horrible app

I’ve finally upgraded to the $59 per month subscription but this App is terrible. I’ve lost a full days worth of teaching videos and have to manually enter everything each time it crashes. Very unstable, frustrating. The amount to steps you have to go through just to enter students, switch to video etc is really slow (when it does work) User interface need updating and automated data entry / switching from camera to analyzing needs a one step and back flow. The trial for this subscription lasts another 27 days, not sure I will last that long.

Previous issues were fixed by turning off WiFi while logging into or using the app.

This is the best coaching aid for golf on the market. Why other golf professionals do not use this I don’t know! They are not giving their student the best opportunities to improve. Combine this app with golf pucks and you have a winner! John Gunby PGA

I have been using V1 Pro for 2 years and find it invaluable in videoing my students and showing them the positive aspects of their swings.

V1 Golf works perfectly for me as a teacher of the game. Outstanding interface and very easy to use not only for myself but even when my students send me videos to analyze. I use V1 with my iPad and the immediate feedback is essential to my lessons. I’ve got hundreds of video on file that I use with my students and have analyzed through the V1pro App. Great app!!

I’ve used V1 since around 2002. I’m a loyal Branded Academy user. It’s simple to use, my students love it, and it’s worth every penny for my business. I have been using in the V1 Pro App in my teaching for as long as they’ve had it. I think it’s the best on the market, and believe me I’ve looked at everything else. they’ve had some challenges over the years but I think they’re continually trying to strive to make it better and better. I rated it a 5 because I have no idea how any people could’ve rated it low. While I think there are still improvements they can make it is closer to a 5 then it is a 1.

After going through a rough patch a couple years ago, V1 is back to its old self and improving. My clients enjoy the communication tools and the ease of using their app. Routinely functional for any instructor to use. Recent updates show a consistent move towards quality over quantity. Industry standard technology.

Can't imagine being able to teach remotely on the range or practice area without this app. Highly recommend it to all teaching professionals!

V1 used to be a proficient app to analyze swings, you could categorize stuff, create workable folders, etc..., but now to get anything I once had I have to sort through all the videos and crap they want to sell and my stuff is now buried deep inside and is difficult to find. Wish I would’ve never hit the update button. That would be fine if it was a free app, but I have paid for it twice, once for Apple and once for Android. They just want money now, sold out and lost direction for the almighty dollar. Save your dollars and pick a different swing analysis tool.

If Slowness non intuitiveness and non user friendliness were the goals of the latest updates they surpasses them with flying colors.

Please bring back the old V1! The old app worked perfectly well. The upgraded app doesn’t work now. I see you deleted the old app page. Stupid.

Worst out there. This is a scam. I'm a pro and a bait and switch is not appreciated nor will I ever recommend it.

Try ubersense instead

This app started out great. I didn't have to have 'special' access to use it. Loved it. Now when I open it I have to be an authorized teacher to use it??? No idea what that means nor does it allow me to have authority. Total rip off.

This app will not let me log in using my email and password. It tells me that my pass code is incorrect!! It will not allow me to register either.

rip off...does not say you have be one of their instructors to purchase app, quickly takes you 4.99, but you can not even log in to use program.

This is a little disappointing. You download this app and it does not allow you to use it. If you need to register for something it does not allow you to do that either. This is not good. I will try to contact them and see what happens but as of right now I would have to say NOT GOOD T

I cannot log in. I can't do anything.

I have taught over 800 lessons and recorded over 3,000 swings using the original V1 Golf app for iPhone and iPad. It's a great tool both for the instructor and student to gain valuable feedback about the swing. I have just started using the V1 Pro app and the problems that were with the original V1 Golf app have been corrected. Well done!! I would like to see V1 eliminate the monthly cost for Golf Professionals to join the branded academy. I think it's a little overpriced and for golf instructors like myself who already have a website and good advertising, it is not necessary for our business. Overall, great update to the original V1 Golf app!!

I cant even login - it looks as though it doesn't work but try's to sell me the paid version. I would but want to try the basic free version first

Great hybrid version of the V1pro 2000 for pc. Mobile is where it is at, awesome on iPhone and iPad.
